Riders to the Sea

The Frost Opera Theater will present Ralph Vaughan Williams' opera Riders to the Sea, a one-act tragedy based on John Millington Synge's play, for their 2025-2026 season. The opera tells the story of a mother and her daughters in the Aran Islands who have lost many family members to the sea, and it explores themes of fatalism, loss, and humanity's struggle against nature.
